Thom is operating manager of Thom McKinney & Associates, an
international consulting firm committed to helping organizations
create ethical leaders who motivate and inspire diverse team members
to get the desired results.
He is a member of the National Speakers Association, and has over 15
years experience as a speaker, trainer and facilitator; and over 20
years of senior management experience in radio, and both broadcast
and cable television. His earlier work experiences included banking
and education. McKinney is a veteran of the US Army. He graduated
from Fairfield University, and holds an MBA from Fordham
University. He spent his formative year in Greenville, SC., but
grew up in Harlem, New York.
Thom
is a successful father, husband, world traveler, community activist,
and an award winning actor who has appeared in numerous stage and
commercial productions, and had a cameo in the Film The Ultimate
Gift. McKinney is the author of “Play the Game to Win:
Success Lessons Courtesy of Ms. Louise and Uncle Sam".
Thom is able to open audience’s hearts and minds. He has worked
with senior executives and incarcerated felons giving them hope and
instilling faith that they can be successful by having goals, being
honest, self-sufficient, hard-working, being fair and sharing with
others, while enjoying the journey of life.
